Selection of drawings

For the present study, we have selected children’s drawings from the archive of originals of Gilles Porte described in our digital re-edition of "Portrait–Selfportrait"; for direct access, see:

The drawings selected were those for which the visual quality allowed for a clear representation concerning their digitisation. All drawings of the first digital publication "Portrait–Selfportrait" were thereby included.

Digital picture archive

As a result, a digital picture archive was created comprising the reproduction of 2103 drawings of as many children, living in 36 different countries and thus having produced their drawings in very different contexts.
